T.M.I.

We have started a juice and watermelon fast. We have been having some stomach upset in our family lately and have decided that it is time to help give our tummies a break and go with just juice and watermelon for 2 days. We'll give you updates as to how we are feeling. As of right now we both have to pee a lot and are so hungry!!!!!!!!!!!!111one!! Everything in our fridge looks amazing and I want to eat it! oh well i'll feel better by tomorrow night I'm sure.....

Here we go again.....I confess......
*I love all Nicholas Sparks books.
*They are sappy and girly and romantic and complete works of fiction and I love them all
*I love to cry, and laugh and fall in love with the places and characters.
*I know that every time I read one I will know the end by the 3rd chapter, and keep reading.
*I confess I will also watch the movie that is made of it and love that one just as much. Crying in all the same places.
*I confess that a major factor in coming to North Carolina was my fantasy of living a Nicholas
Sparks novel.

*I confess.....I wear my contacts too many days in a row. I'm not sure how many days in a row I wear them but I know its more than 5 days, which is what the FDA has approved them for.

*I confess I learned that from my cutie patootie of a husband just now.

*I confess I didn't used to wear my contacts for as long as I do now until I met him. Boys are such bad influences.

*I confess I yelled at the cute kitties this morning because they scratched me when I woke up this morning.

*I confess I bite my nails.

*I know it is a horrible habit but its one I can't break because keeping up with painting my nails every week is too much work!

*I've tried to stop but I can't! Please somebody HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!

So the blog is updated for the upcoming holiday! I'm kinda digging the green myself.

In other Helton news we finally got all of our stuff together enough to get our driver's licenses here in North Carolina. Figuring out insurance stuff and passing the random written test that really needs to be studied for was a challenge for us this week but we did it and now we are ready to be North Carolina residents and in 2 weeks we will be moving into our own apartment. extra bedroom and bathroom here we come!!!!!! We are really excited for more counter space and cabinet space and the ability to decorate and hang things on the walls. Some painting might occur as well. Pictures to follow, I promise, I'm so excited!

Its that time again......

*I confess a diet coke can cure all frustration.

*a diet coke a day keeps the crazy police away.

*sometimes a diet dr. pepper does the same thing.

*i love taking care of people at my job but i hate catering to diva doctors who don't work well with the rest of the team.

*i never have enough time in the mornings to tie my shoes. usually you can see me around 6:33am or 6:55am running from the suburban to the bus with my laces flapping in the breeze.

*i have worked an entire 10 hour shift without tying my shoes.

So its been the birthday season around our house. James turned 29 on Jan 26th and mine is just around the corner! Eekkk!!!
This is from James' birthday. Isn't he so cute! Happy Birthday Sweetie! 29 is definitely looking mighty fine!


For those of you who don't know James very well yet may not understand his love of chocolate. Well it is out of control! he is so addicted to everything chocolate and not just good chocolate any chocolate with more chocolate and a little bit of chocolate on top of that! Well I wanted to indulge this love so I made him a crazy chocolate cake! it was my way of accepting his chocolate needs.
if you will all note that the ice cream was chocolate with chocolate chunks in it.

Alright Melissa Dear pushed me over the edge and I have decided to start. So here goes nothing.......

*I confess that I'm completely addicted to TLC's Four Weddings and Say Yes to the Dress!!!! Poor James I make him watch them too!

*I confess I check the eBay and Etsy apps multiple times a day on my phone. I love watching it and if I'm not careful and listen to my husband I would spend too much on stuff getting caught up in the thrill of bidding!!!! I love to win!

*I have the cutest puppy in all of puppy-dom!!!! she's just snoozing here on the couch by us with her tongue sticking out relaxin'

*right now i'm addicted to charleston chews! I can get fun sized ones at the gift shop at Duke and its my sugar fix on a bad day....ok anytime i want some ;)

*I haven't finished a book in over a year. With working during the day and a cute husband at home in the evenings I just haven't found the time....

ok that's enough confessing for this week. a girl's gotta have some secrets right?
